Take a short, five-minute drive from Boerne’s captivating Main Street, and you’ll find George’s Ranch, an exciting new gated community offering upscale privacy and opulence that’s built on history. Spanning over 1,140 acres of picturesque terrain, the community gets its name from the same man Kendall County does: legendary Texas pioneer, George Wilkins Kendall.

Kendall’s legacy is now being stewarded by the Lookout Group, a Leander-based developer who bought the property in 2017. At the time, it was called Post Oak Springs Ranch, but after extensive research and careful consideration, the decision was made to name the historic ranch after the man himself. The developer, which has experience with master-planned neighborhoods in Kendall County, is planning an 1,100-acre community that will deliver 800 1-acre home lots.

The Austin developer, The Lookout Group, revealed which builders will be the first to put product down at a coveted Boerne-area community. Earlier this year, The Lookout Group, broke ground at George’s Ranch, an 1,100-acre master-plan community with plans to deliver 800 1-acre homesitess upon completion.
